Day-9 (On Monday, January 14th 2019)

       Today was the “Welcoming Program” from SMU. In the early morning, we got up and prepare our things such as our traditional clothes from our own countries and region in Indonesia. The program was started, there were a lot of people in the room, such as Sir Father Fernold, Ma’am Tayaban, Ma’am Liberty, Sir Gerome and our Buddies from STO and friends. In this event, I sang “Indonesia Raya” to represent Indonesia with Nisa, Dilla, and Fahri to represent Indonesia as our Country, I was really proud and almost cried at that time. The speeches of SMU were Sir Father Fernold, Ma’am Tayaban, Ma’am Liberty and Sir Moises about the Sea-Teacher Exchange’s Program. We also introduced our self with Tagalog. The time to show our performance has come, I was so nervous, we practiced the dance from Padang “Tari Pasambahan” only three days before the day. However our performance was success. The audiences were very happy and excited to see our performance. The performance from STO was also very good. They danced with Indonesian song “Pokemon Song”, the dance was very funny. We also dance together, the dance called “Cambe-cambe”. After the program was finished, we went to Senior High School and met the Principal, Sir Mel. He gave us our schedule. I also met my cooperating teacher, Ma’am Ederlene, she is really kind person, she told me to come to her class and start the first observation.
